Father Allen Hoffa and I met 5 years ago when I facilitated a retreat for women seeking healing from the devastating effects of their husband’s pornography addictions. Father Hoffa was working with the Catholic ministry, Integrity Restored, and I was just beginning the ministry of Hope’s Garden. Father Hoffa and I have continued to work together to help women heal Betrayal Trauma and other forms of spousal abuse.
It was a delight to have the opportunity to meet with Father Hoffa on Zoom and talk about, my favorite subject, Jesus the Bridegroom. The woman at the well discovered what I now know to be true - Jesus is the One Whom our souls seek; the One Whom our hearts long for; the One Who heals the wounds of fallen human love. Jesus is the fulfillment of all our desires!
