It’s natural to suffer as humans, period. It is also natural as mystics to learn how to relieve that suffering, as witches to cast out what isn’t ours, and as lovers to digest what is — and make something with it.
Since last November, I’ve been working with the myth of Inanna in our community — in both subtle and very real ways — to give us the lineage (context) to change how we are relating to what is dying and being reborn, inside and between us in our relationships.

It’s the sacred space where we get to become the myth — not just read about it, not just talk about transformation, but walk it. To die and be reborn on purpose, with witnesses, with music, with our ancestors behind us and our grief made holy.
Working with archetypes — like Inanna, Magdalene, the Dark Mother, or the wild Fool — gives the psyche something to hold onto when everything else is falling apart. It gives shape to the shapeless. It’s not just metaphor. It’s somatic resurrection.
