The Atlantic Magazine published an article suggesting a pandemic amnesty is required for how people acted over the past two years because “we didn’t know”. Yes we didn’t know, but we quickly learned, but many of those learnings were not heeded. Misinformation about drinking bleach, taking horse medicine, demonization of unvaccinated and division of classes through limiting access, travel, employment, etc. The thing is if you didn’t know, then you certainly didn’t show it, because you walked around and got on TV with certainty that the unvaccinated were the problem. So NO, Miss Atlantic Magazine writer, there will be no amnesty, but there will be a reckoning!
