Freedom of Speech - Defamation and Incitement of Violence - Where will the attack on Free Speech end if we don’t fiercely oppose it?
Hate Speech laws around the world are being developed and certain protected classes of people are being established. I personally don’t think Hate Speech is a thing and protected classes are not needed. Defamation and Incitement to violence already handled 99.9% of all cases and this is just another means by which to silence Free Speech. Remember those freedoms don’t require you to be nice, although its probably best that you did; but as we all learned as children - Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me.
