Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. Welcome to Raven's Readings.
I will be reading to you from Carry on Jeeves, a collection of short stories written by P. G. Wodehouse in 1925. Jeeves, a valet, and his employer Bertie Wooster were characters in dozens of short stories by Wodehouse. The chapters are a bit long, so I'll likely take two podcasts for each one.
Last episode, Bertie, with the help of Jeeves, freed Biffy from the clutches of Honoria and delivered him back into the arms of Mabel. Who was Jeeves' niece, as it turned out. In the next chapter, Berie is in court, dragged in by a scheme to try to help yet another friend.
I do readings twice a week. If you subscribe to my Substack newsletter, you'll get notified of my updates as soon as they are ready. If you enjoy this reading, or have other classics you'd like to hear, leave me a comment.
