Before we get into the juiciness of what I’m sharing on the Devoted Way podcast with you today, I want to take a moment and send you the biggest virtual hug and embrace. I know you want to share the real you with your community members. You desire to be authentic, to be honest, to not hide behind the pretty, fluffy words and photos but share all of who you are. But how do you do this without scaring your community members away, making them second guess ever wanting to work with you because, shouldn’t coaches and healers have their stuff together in order to guide others? And what if you over share, and it gets messy and sticky? What if the lines get blurred and you begin sharing, not from a place of service, but from a place of desiring validation from your beloved community?
Take a deep breath Starbeam. I can feel your distress at the possibility of this, so simply take a moment and breathe.
Now imagine becoming intimately familiar with your own voice, with your own way of sharing. Beginning to explore how you speak to those you trust most, and seeing that you have a particular way and process of sharing your truth. And instead of flailing aimlessly around with your words and your energy, you establish a protocol and a grounding practice for yourself.
How would that feel to your system?
