Jesus’ obedience in the garden is an intentional first step to undo the curse of sin and death and bring eternal life to all who believe and submit to him. And as a result, all who are in Jesus (covered by his sacrifice, living in him instead of the world) get to live in the new Garden of Eden, which is now a city built by God.
