Opening with the Avalonian Free State Choir singing “Carol of the Bells” (originally a Ukrainian folk song called “Shchedryk” about a swallow proclaiming spring), Sarah shares the story of the Dear Mother - the deer who carries the sun in her antlers on the longest night.
