In the final episode of our ‘Myths’ series, the HAD girls were joined live by Breeze Barrington, historian and author of a brand-new book on the court of Mary of Modena, the wife of James II, ‘The Graces'.
Breeze talked about the myth that the son of James II and Mary of Modena, another James, was a changeling, smuggled into the birthing chamber in a bed warming pan! The story is one of complete absurdity and groupthink which was the cause of much distress to Mary.
