I had the immense gift of sitting down with my friend, em, to talk about friendship + our dreams for it. a little about this series:
community is a word I take very, very seriously. without each other, who are we? I want to set out to find an answer. (I don't think I've found any answer close to being good or worthwhile.) my friends and I love to talk, whether in the form of audio messages or phone calls during walks. who they are and the wisdom they have to share are things I don't want to keep for myself. it's deeply nourishing and, in this series, my friends and I meet to have the kinds of conversations that feed a deeper part of us.
