I debated whether to take a line from a Wadsworth poem. Then I debated which Wadsworth. William or Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. They both wrote about the spring season. I thought I remembered them well. I did not. Old college electives be damned!
Second thoughts swayed me to snag this communication’s teaser line from the title of New Order’s second single. I’ll spare you a conversation about all the record’s pressing variants.
The smell of spring is in the air. Fresh and fragrant. Walking by a Bradford pear tree. It looks so pretty and lush in full bloom. Then the trees smell of rotting fish and dirty socks attempts to harsh out the day. I could go into a tirade about how planting them everywhere was a total a*****e of American landscaping. I'll spare you that at this time as well.
Seasons. They sure got their ups and downs, right?
