Description

Today I pause my series on angels to share some thoughts sparked by a recent essay from Scott Sauls (Out, Spot). Using Shakespeare’s imagery of Lady Macbeth’s bloodstains, he reminds us that some things in our culture - and in our own lives - are simply not okay.

I weave in my own reflections on worship, Jimmy Joe’s message about “empty rooms,” the story of Lazarus, and Nehemiah’s response to brokenness. The thread is the same: we can’t scrub away our own stains. Only Christ can fill the empty spaces, bring life where there is death, and awaken us to His glory.
