Today I had the immense pleasure of speaking with Brad Thomas. He is one of the most prolific writers on SA, author of one and soon, two books, and editor of the Forbes Real Estate Investor.
In this conversation, we began by assessing the macro outlook for real estate. Will real estate crash? What about commercial real estate specifically? We also talked about how the Federal Reserve policy will affect REITs and how to best position for what is to come. We then moved on from the macro and focused on REIT fundamentals. What is a "good" REIT? What are the best REIT sectors today? And who should invest in REITs. To wrap up, Brad tells us about how he got into real estate and financial writing.
