Last week I opened a conversation on my Instagram stories about an alignment call I had with a client for a one-on-one Retreat.
My client said yes to moving forward and curating a sacred space for both her vision and what’s inside.
Despite alignment being more than present, I could sense and feel that her yes would create financial stress and overwhelm.
So I asked her ‘Does your yes create more stress and overwhelm in your body or less?’
She said more.
She then proceeded to ask me a really beautiful question.
‘How did you know?’
This attunement is a teaching that (I believe) only experience, devotion, and great humility can produce. And it’s all inside this episode for you.
In reflecting back to my client what I sensed, we were able to expose a pattern of stress and overwhelm that would continue to play out otherwise.
This stress and overwhelm would also be the thing that took her high or low and therefore out of her center, disrupting her capacity to be clear.
Being in our center is the foundation of attunement and clarity.
Notice how I didn’t say ‘being regulated and grounded all the time’, which is also another way we take ourselves high or away from our center.
What I share in this episode speaks to the trust I carry into my work and the powerful process that unfolds as a result of not needing anything to happen (no agenda) - which I sense will support those of you who hold deeply.
I expect it will resonate most with those who are interested in deepening and expanding their capacity to be with Self and others, with greater trust (in all things).

Many times I’ve needed a ‘yes’ to feel safe in my vision, and oftentimes this yes came at the expense of the one giving it.
Many times my lack of discernment distorted my channel and capacity to participate wholeheartedly in my soul’s work.
These are some of the most important lessons I’ve learned over the years that have brought me into greater alignment with my medicine and the way I choose to wield and dispense it.

About Your Teacher: Ellen Travassaros
G’day, I’m Ellen (El for short).
I live on Awabakal Country, also known as Newcastle, located in the Southern Hemisphere in NSW Australia.
I’ve spent the past decade in service to my inner embodied healing work and facilitating endless initiations and cycles of death and rebirth with sisters, clients, and communities alike.
I think and feel deeply and carry perspectives that have been layered in through both deep and rich, yet truly gnarly, alchemical, and sacred experiences.
One thing that has always held me dearly throughout my journey, is the medicine of my teachers, story, and experiences shared uninhibited by walls. I find a sense of belonging, freedom, and deep strength in the willingness of another to bring their truth and heart center stage.
The purpose of my work is to facilitate the transformation a person is ready to move through, or already moving through.
And by extension, help my community and the greater collective metabolize and mediate the complexity and paradoxical nature of the human and healing experience.
I’m excited to build a home here for those of us who resonate with the understanding that human beings are innately equipped to facilitate their deepest healing and transformation.
