Gillingham’s winless run away from home continued at Accrington Stanley, but after conceding in the first half, the team kept plugging away, and eventually got their reward with a late, late strike from Max Clark earning former Stanley boss John Coleman and the Gills a share of the spoils at the WHAM Stadium.

All of the crucial action came during stoppage time at the end of both halves, as the Gills went behind in added time at the end of the first half, only for Clark’s late strike to earn the Gills a point in the fifth minute of stoppage time at the end of the game.

James takes the helm to recap the day’s action, as the Gills took their tally to eight points from their last six outings.
