It was a longer-than-anticipated matchday at Priestfield as a floodlight failure meant more than 20 minutes of added time were played on a chilly, but successful, night as the Gills claimed a hugely-important 1-0 home win over AFC Wimbledon.
Conor Masterson’s strike, turning in a header from newly-introduced substitute Macauley Bonne, proved to be the difference-maker as the Gills ground out a victory after a less-than-stellar performance.
