More than two weeks after he officially arrived at Priestfield as Gillingham’s new head coach, Stephen Clemence took charge of his first home league game as the Gills took on Salford City at Priestfield. After a steady start, the team grew into the game and eventually ran out 3-1 winners, thanks to goals from Connor Mahoney, Tom Nichols and Dom Jefferies.
