Oh what a night! After kicking off the campaign with some battling performances, Gillingham turned that fight into a phenomenal win under the lights as they thrashed fancied promotion contenders Chesterfield 4-1 on a memorable night at Priestfield.
Two penalties (one slight dubious) were converted by skipper Armani Little to put the Gills 2-0 up, and goals from Lenni Cirino (on his professional EFL debut) and Marcus Wyllie (his first EFL goal since turning professional), rounded out a quite brilliant all-round team performance from Gareth Ainsworth's men, who were outstanding to a man.
Owen grabs the mic to take a look back at one of the most enjoyable nights at Priestfield in years as he unpacks the night's action with the help of Tom, Dave and (until his connection died) James C.
