Hello Everyone!
These movie talks are starting to feel like a day at the spa. Once a week, Ben Ulansey and I get together and try to deliberately not talk about politics (which is impossible… but we do pretty good).
The nice thing about talking about movies is that it allows for a distraction. I’ve been on a lot of lives with Nick where we discuss our frustration with what’s going on in the USA today. But until this live, I didn’t know about his musical background!
I always enjoy talking with musicians, they have a different way of looking at the world. My daughter plays the piano and Ben is a musical guy too. There’s a certain way a musically oriented mind looks at things and it always provides me with a new perspective that I appreciate!
This conversation is mainly about music and I thought it was delightful, we threw a couple movie and television show suggestions in there. I watched an episode of “Delicious in Dungeon” with my kids thanks to Nick. They thought it was weird.
Also, we’re making an effort to schedule out guests into the future. Here’s who we have coming in the near future (tagging them here will serve as a convenient reminder!):
* September 4th: Dana DuBois
* September 11th: Robert Danna
* September 18th: Frederic Poag
* September 25th: The Mouthy Renegade Writer
* October 2nd: Zuri Stevens (she hasn’t confirmed availability yet… but I’m keeping my fingers crossed)
Thank you Brandon Ellrich, Randall Cadenhead, Sunny, J Gatton Prats, Lisa | We Are The Third Estate, and many others for tuning into my live video with Ben Ulansey and Nick Paro!
