This was a fun time! I’ve known The Mouthy Renegade Writer for a long time and it’s always a delight to sit down and chat. We are about the same age, so talking about old movies is like a walk through the past. I like these conversations because they always reveal new things I didn’t know about people (like the fact that the Mouthy' writer’s dad didn’t allow him to watch R rated films growing up).
This conversation was mainly about ‘Pulp Fiction’ and ‘Back to the Future,’ but we covered some other territory too. I brought in the list of the top grossing movies from 1984. What film do you think topped that list?
