Did you ever wonder why even though other countries have guns only the United States of America has regular mass shootings? It’s because the US has both guns and white supremacy.

We have a problem in this country that has been swept under the rug for far too long. We have politicians who will insist people get fired for a random thought posted on social media, but those same politicians will go to the mat defending individuals who give nazi salutes in public.

The sad reality of our country is that many people have been indoctrinated with the supremacy mindset. This is like getting infected with a concentrated dosage of hate that will eventually grow and spread and ruin both the lives of the carrier and anyone who comes into his sphere.

Those that dabble in the ideology of superiority come to think that other human beings do not have the same entitlement to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. This belief erodes their understanding of the sanctity of life, and ultimately sets the stage for atrocities.

The rot began with white supremacy but, like all bad things, it has evolved and expanded. Today, that same ideology of superiority is committed to the oppression of a diverse coalition of people.

We have men in our society who think they are superior to women. We have men who think they are superior to immigrants. We have men who think they are superior to the Black community. We have men who think they are superior based on their religion. We have men who think they're superior based on their sexual orientation.

When these men start thinking of themselves as superior, they begin to see other human beings as less than human. This is how they condition themselves to take lives.

All mass shooters succumb to this grotesque ideological viewpoint of supremacy and hate.

Once impressionable young men are infected with this despicable worldview, they convince themselves that taking a life isn’t a crime. They’re convinced the lives they take mean less than their own.

At some point the rational people in our nation have to recognize that this problem exists. Then we have to take action to stop the senseless slaughter of our friends, relatives, loved ones, and children.

For God’s sake, these hate indoctrinated supremacists murder children!

To a large extent the very concept of American exceptionalism feeds into the supremacy narrative. From a young age, kids are told that our country is “better” than other nations. This encourages our kids to see people of other nations as “less” than they are.

This is how the process of eroding the value of human life begins.

We need to get to a point where we have respect for all human beings and all life. All of our actions need to work in service to the collective objective of embracing our shared humanity.

Instead, our nation teaches our children to cultivate the seed of hatred that comes in the form of a sense of supremacy. It’s to the detriment of others because it transforms otherwise kind people into something malicious. It’s detrimental to anyone who embraces that ideology because it encourages them to reject any appeal to empathy, compassion, or love.

There’s an ongoing movement in our society to strip women of their rights. The men behind this movement believe they’re superior to women. They are committed to an ideology of control. They want to make women dependent on them. They want to steal their right to have credit. They want to steal their right to work. They want to take their right to vote. They’ve already stolen their bodily autonomy.

The men behind these objectives believe themselves to be superior. That’s how they justify these acts of blatant cruelty. They’ve convinced themselves that women have no purpose in the world other than to tend to their needs. They’ve convinced themselves women should have no wants or feelings or dreams.

These awful men, infected with the supremacy mindset, believe women should be nothing more than their playthings.

This ideology has to be opposed! We can no longer afford to allow people to think these horrible thoughts and do nothing.

If you look at American history, you can find evidence of times when a reprehensible ideology came to power and managed to become normalized. When people have their rights restricted, crimes against humanity soon follow.

Today, many children grow up in abusive households. Children are forced to learn how to survive within an oppressive reality where they are forced to be subservient to unquestionable authority.

But what has always happened throughout history, whether it’s with the Black community, or the LGBTQ+ community, or immigrants, or women, or the children of abusive parents, there comes a moment when the ideology of hate is rejected.

Powerless people at first choose the path of least resistance as a tactic of survival. But whether it takes a year or a decade or a century, the revolution against the supremacy mindset will eventually come.

It’s inevitable that all oppressed individuals and communities will rouse themselves. By then, the supremacist has wasted his time of power succumbing further to his own ideology of hatred and oppression. In the same way that a serial killer trains himself to murder by torturing animals, the supremacist indoctrinates himself so he’s emboldened to commit even more terrible abuses.

When the day of separation finally comes, the supremacist is left alone and frustrated, certain that they have been deprived of something they had no right to claim, but which they deluded themselves into believing belonged only to them.

They then become capable of murder.

It is the responsibility of parents, and teachers, and any person of decency to do everything they can to prevent our children from being led down this terrible path. From the first moment an impressionable child indulges in any thought of supremacy, or exceptionalism, they have taken a step in the direction of viewing their fellow human beings as an object they are free to use as they wish.

Until we learn how to help people reject the supremacy mindset, those individuals are doomed to descend into a death spiral of frustration and spite that eventually culminates in violence.

We see this manifest all the time. People become frustrated and angry for different reasons, and different provocation. But the underlying motive is always the same.

This pathway of the supremacy ideology leads to atrocity.

When young boys take the supremacy mindset into their hearts, and they’re not instructed to reject it, the cancer quickly overcomes the whole body. Young white boys are especially vulnerable to this form of indoctrination because it’s injected through flattery.

Flattery always makes people feel good. Flattery is a convenient way to manipulate people. Flattery compels people to put their guard down. This remains true even when that flattery is designed to corrupt. The supremacy mindset pushes young white men down a path where they ultimately drive away anyone who felt any true affection for them.

Rock bottom becomes an inevitability for young white men who are told they are “superior.” The closer they get to the bottom, the tighter they hold on to the false flattery that works as an anchor pulling them down. Eventually, when they’ve lost everything, they have little conflict about taking the lives of the innocent people they’ve falsely indoctrinated themselves to believe were responsible.

This is why we have mass shootings in the United States of America. This is the pipeline that corrupts impressionable young minds and turns them into killers.

The ones that don’t become killers become human traffickers.

The ones that don’t become human traffickers become rapists.

The ones that don’t become rapists, become supporters of convicted felons who run for office.

America is the birthplace of white supremacy. It’s fundamental to this nation’s culture. This is why the United States has these kind of shootings. Other countries have the guns, but only the US has this form of toxic, unregulated white supremacy.

We need to change.

The mindset of “American exceptionalism” has to be discarded. The price is too great. We’re paying for it with the lives of our babies.

Instead, we must adopt a mentality that’s based on human dignity. We need to adopt a mentality that’s based on respect for diverse cultures. We can’t afford to allow our people to believe they’re superior to anyone or anything. That sets the foundation for mass murder.

We need to embrace an ideology that contains the pathway to prosperity for all, not just a privileged and delusional few. We have to work for the benefit of our community and forge strong relationships with each other.

We can no longer allow ourselves to deny the humanity of our friends and neighbors.

There are no human beings that were put on this earth with no other purpose than to be servants, or to feed any man’s most foul and animalistic impulses.

Our children deserve to be protected from hate ideologies that will fundamentally corrupt their worldview. Instead, they have a right to hear about positive mindsets that are rooted in a fundamental respect for life.

Too often, under the guise of “defending” free speech, hate speech is elevated while the mentality of compassion is censored.

We need to change.

The outdated concepts that form the backbone of our national identity are killing us. They’re killing our kids.

Malicious and nefarious forces that reap profits from the suffering of humanity are out there poisoning the waters with lies that are directed at your children. These are lies that are disguised as flattery about their own sense of superiority.

These are lies that are designed to capitalize on the human need for an identity and the human need for a sense of self-worth. But those otherwise good impulses are being opportunistically perverted. Supremacists never teach the means of self-improvement because self-improvement requires discipline, respect, and work.

Instead, supremacists leverage the power of the aggrievement mentality. They whisper lies and tell young people that they shouldn’t have to work because they’re already “superior.” It’s always easier to destroy than to build. It’s always easier to cultivate laziness over a work ethic. Supremacists plant the seeds of hate in the minds of our children, and laugh to themselves over the damage they cause.

This is the fundamental issue that our society has to recognize and counter. We need to collectively reject all the ideas that feed into the supremacy culture. We need to identify that it's the supremacy culture that leads to the needless and tragic loss of human life.

All our problems have grown from this one malicious seed.

It’s time to embrace the humanitarian ideologies that give our children a means of unlocking their ultimate potential. This is what we have to teach if we want to give future generations a chance at unlocking all the joys that are possible in this wonderous life.

Haven’t we sacrificed enough? Let’s embrace the reality of our beautiful shared humanity. Take care with the seeds you plant in your heart. If you commit yourself to the understanding that all people are created equal, your life becomes an enduring example of kindness and love.
