I believe in the mentorship process, having that person who would instruct, answer questions, guide, influence, and impact your life to be the best possible. Where can you find a mentor? Church or place of worship, school, or after-school programs is excellent places to start.
For me, it all started in the church. Pastors, teachers, and mentors lifted me and challenged me when I needed it. They displayed grace and hugged me when necessary, but they also knew when to provide me with the proverbial smack in the head. And for that, I am grateful.
