King David's son, Absalom, revolted against his father. David is then forced to flee for his life. On his way out of Jerusalem David encounters a man who hurls curses and stones at him. Instead of ordering this man's execution, David does not retaliate. Similarly, Jesus did not retaliate against those who insulted and injured him.
