1 Samuel chapter 22 shows how King Saul is more paranoid and delusional. Because Ahimelech the priest assisted David, Saul kills Ahimelech and everyone in the city. David then takes responsibility for the killings even as Jesus Christ has taken responsibility for our sins on the cross.
