In the season of Advent, Galatians has passages on the significance of Christ's birth. One of them is Galatians 3. It says that when God made promises to Abraham and offspring, it meant only one of his descendants, Jesus Christ. Effectively, the entire Old Testament is an anticipation of Jesus Christ. Because the Law of Moses came after the promises to Abraham, salvation has always been by God's promise and not us following rules. If you believe in and belong to Christ, then all of God's promises are for you too.December 21, 2025 PM sermon at North Blendon Christian Reformed Church
