In this week’s Voice Note from Linn I am talking about why it is necessary to let go of dieting in order to move towards a more peaceful relationship with food, eating and your body.
I also talk about how this is not the same thing as still wanting to lose weight or make your body smaller, it is ok to still hold these desires if you do. But that doesn’t mean you have to actually act on them.
This is a short ramble on the topic of dieting, Diet Culture and taking a non-diet approach to healing our relationship with food.
It is definitely a topic that needs a deeper discussion as well as more time. I am hoping to do some longer episodes in the future but until then here are a few other’s who write about this to go and check out!
