Description

Welcome to episode 45 of LFTR and we’re talking about the way January is going, which is fine, really. Just a lot. The sub-zero temps did us in for winter camping and one of us is back to work travel (a bit). It’s an adjustment. We also talk about times that we’ve been overwhelmed on the road or with road life in general. Included in this episode’s 2022 escapades recap, we leave the NE and head to Ohio where we stay at a gem of a state park and are underwhelmed with a national park.

Highlights include:

* Turns out winter RVing isn’t so awesome sometimes

* Jamie still hates Maid of the Mist

* Cuyahoga National Park - why?

* The parts of travel that overwhelm us

* A tangent about Thousand Trails, Florida, and Peace River

* Some Fort Wilderness fun

* Clay is still obsessed with the PCH

Links:

* Riveter North Carolina

* Four Maples Winery

* Niagara Craft Spirits

* Punderson State Park
