One of the many things that I enjoy about the Yellowjacketsseries is its willingness to explore darker themes through the use of psychological and physical horror. It feels as though this series does everything possible to, highlight and really convey a message of girlhood and the loss of innocence that young girls go through while also exploring a world of survival for these girls after the plane crash.
