Your Podcast Solves Other People's Problems w/Kevin Palmieri
In this episode, Kevin Palmieri, CEO of Next Level University talks about how your podcast adds value to people’s lives, no matter what your subject matter is. Kevin shares his experience with podcasting and gives tips on how what you offer to your audience can be the vehicle to monetize your podcast.
Some additional tips if you are a new podcaster:
* Provide high-quality content. Don’t be afraid to share “the good stuff” with your audience. Remember they can always Google it. But they will mostly likely come to you when they need to purchase what you offer. By following these tips, you can treat your podcast like a business and give your audience value in the process.
* Be consistent with your message across all platforms so your audience develops a sense of what you mean to them.
* Decide your zone of genius and outsource everything else.
* If you’re not there for your audience someone else will be.
Here are some additional tips on how to give your audience something that makes their life better:
* Solve their problems. What are the biggest challenges your listeners are facing? Can you create content that helps them solve those problems?
* Educate them. Share your knowledge and expertise on a topic that your listeners are interested in. Again don’t be stingy with your knowledge.
* Inspire them. Share stories and anecdotes that will motivate and inspire your listeners. Share your heart with your listeners. Build that connection.
* Make them feel connected. Create a community around your podcast where listeners can feel like they belong. And give yourself an opportunity to connect with your community.
By giving your audience something that makes their lives better, you'll be well on your way to building a successful podcast.
Thanks, Kevin!
