Description

Thus far, only two states — Iowa and Tennessee — have enacted time- and grade-based limits.

Two other states — Utah and Alabama — have directed districts to limit screentime or to set screen time standards for early childhood programs.

Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma and Vermont also considered related legislation this year that did not become law.

In this new interview, ECS’s Lauren Bloomquist describes how state screen time limits are emerging as an issue that more states are interested in exploring.

Bloomquist will also appear at a September 30th ECS webinar.
