There's a lot of great parenting content on the internet with tips for navigating the various highs and lows of everyday life with children. This is not another one of those places.
Founded in 2023 as the ParentSounds newsletter, Creative Parenting Club is about OUR stories as people who became parents: our personal ambitions, casual interests, and everything else that represents who we still hope to be as humans while we try our best to raise our kids.
By sharing stories of everyday people taking on ambitious, creative, and fulfilling projects while also having a family, we hope this community will inspire every parent to keep developing and building their own positive sense of self.
This week’s parent profile is of Maria Silvano and Cosimo Miorelli, an Italian couple based in Berlin who are also the parents of an almost three year-old daughter and a six year-old son. Maria is a photographer and Cosimo is an illustrator, and we had a wonderful conversation outside at a Berlin café recently talking about creative identity after parenthood, and a whole lot more.
