Lauren Hunter-Smith is a certified death doula. There's so much to death care and Lauren speaks to her work and her world...being a guide, caretaker, and advocate for the dying and their loved ones. In this session I really enjoyed finding out why my dear friend wanted to work with death and in the process learned so much more about funerals, green cemeteries, Lauren's desire to bring green one to Kentucky, gardening and foraging, the relationship between tripping and deathcare, and some differences between the South Pacific where I live and American funeral ways.
