Picture this- a full moon shines naked in a cloudless sky. I too am naked and I've just emerged from a hobit like oval spa, something out of a finnishh folk tale...and I'm tingling all over. The cool night air is almost overwhelmingly oppositve to the warm womblike chambre of Tina's sacred sauna. Shivering, I focus on the startling white moon...the air isn't bothering me now, because I have emmerged from one ritual space to another, and all 6 women plus our powerful guide and hostess are silent. We all understand there is no need to confer with each other in this moment. We are due for more rounds in the dark sauna...but for now we take our deep gulps of night air outside...as naked as the day we were born. And here we are re-born- ceremoniously as wild women. Here to cleans and transmute all that needs to be sweat out, given up to the ether...to the mother...to the dark night of our souls.
