How do you parent surviving children after the death of a child? Unfortunately, there is no clear answer. Model, blogger and fellow Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC) parent Heather Hammond and I discuss the unique parenting challenges bereaved parents face and how we have worked to face those challenges. We explore how to authentically honor our deceased child while still enjoying life with our surviving children, how to help siblings cope with loss at an early age, and recognize that sometimes all we can do is take care of ourselves and our children as well as we can.
