Ask yourself
Where is the clarity
Inside of familiarity
I can’t play by the rules of duality
Marry me
Take a sip of the depth I have to offer
I’m not a follower
I'm an innovator
Not a saviour to your sins
But a mirror so that you can begin
To remember who you are
A star in human form
So why would you conform
You see, there's only a need to perform
When you forget yourself
Tell me
What’s the point in trying to be free
In the confines of a reality
That is a pretty illusion
A delusion
That feeds on your confusion
On your amnesia
Until a seizure wakes you up
Asks you to finally trust
In a way that you can’t see with your eyes
Maybe the words of this poem are to remind you
Of your own inner guidance
So that you are no longer in abidance
Or defiance
But in harmony
Balance
Opening your heart to new talents
That remained asleep
Until you awoke from this waking dream
Until you started to believe
In more than the mind can begin conceive
So close your eyes
And you’ll start to find
That you’re always guided from the inside
with love,
