Current Time.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
I hope you enjoy your day with people you love, value, and appreciate - those who are important to you in your life. Having a delicious meal, engaging in valuable conversations, and enjoying good music in the background are things to be truly grateful for.
If you are in a different situation and life circumstances have led you to spend this holiday alone, be grateful for that, too. I’m sending you good energy and sharing this latest podcast, created especially for Thanksgiving. There is no alternative to real human connection; however, this is the best I can do for you this year, and I hope to do more for you next year. Just know that you are in my thoughts, and I’m building a better future for you.
After listening to this podcast, many thoughts ran through my mind, so I’ll share some of them. I’d love to hear your thoughts, so feel free to write to me in the comments or send me a direct message.
Listening to Mark and Samantha talk about The Liat Show reminded me of that moment in Back to the Future when Marty plays “Johnny B. Goode” for an audience that wasn’t ready for it. Except in this case, the talented hosts were ready for it, and they got it. They talk about my initiative with the precision of a jazz ensemble, each host riffing off the other, finding connections between my stories and their own experiences.
They digest and try to figure out what a business development architect or stories architect is in today’s world. My dad, the real architect, would probably raise an eyebrow and say, “What are you building now, Liat?” but would join me no matter how crazy the idea I pitched him. Every element I create has a foundation, even if it’s a little offbeat, like mixing Miles Davis into a rock concert, which, in my mind, could work perfectly if the conductor is talented enough.
And maybe that’s what storytelling is at its core - a form of jazz. It’s structured yet improvisational, pulling from what’s planned but leaving room for the unexpected. The joy comes not just from playing the notes but from hearing how the audience interprets them, fills in the spaces, and sometimes hums along.

Liat
In this journey, I weave together episodes from my life with the rich tapestry of Israeli culture through music, food, arts, entrepreneurship, and more. I write over the weekends and evenings and publish these episodes as they unfold, almost like a live performance.
Each episode is part of a set focused on a specific topic, though sometimes I release standalone episodes. A set is released over several days to make it easier for you to read during your busy workday. If one episode catches your attention, make sure to read the entire set to get the whole picture. Although these episodes are released in sets, you can read the entire newsletter from the beginning, as it flows smoothly, like music to your ears - or, in this case, your eyes.
The Liat Show is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.
