Ep.100 His Vine & Fig Tree Podcast

The Monday release of 20 Israeli hostages—all men—later came with the remains of four people, and one them wasn’t a hostage. When does the patience of President Donald Trump hit its limit with Hamas? Meanwhile, the media chatter is a “transformed Middle East.” We need much more evidence of change in that combustible region before there is fundamental change anyone can brfag about.

POLITICO reported about WeChat messages involving young Republicans who revealed themselves to be repulsive, repugnant, vile human beings. This reports stems as a contrast from the considerable time focused on Jay Jones, the Virginia Democratic party attorney general candidate, who sent texts a few years ago wishing harm to the Virginia House Speaker and his family.

The national media has no clue about spiritual issues, and it was on display again on Air Force One Monday. They always ask questions in terms of good works getting folks to heaven. Getting to heaven is salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, according to the Scriptures. The good news is President Trump seems to be thinking about spiritual issues. He needs more prayer.

All the data shows growing interest in spiritual issues. People keep using the word “revival” to describe what’s happening. Additional data from Christian pollster George Barna provides further proof that it’s not a revival—yet. Please call it something else until that happens.
