Hello and good morning, friends. How are you?

This morning I’m thinking about what kind of day and week I’d like to have. What do I want things to feel like?

My usual answer is some form of quiet and ease, which are two things we hold a bit of in our meditation today. When I say that, I don’t mean that things are just quiet and easy the whole time (though sometimes that is nice). What I really mean is that I can meet the day, the week, the moment, with an internal sense of quiet and ease. It’s easy to spend a lot of time in a heightened state between the news, scrolling, life’s every day stresses, etc.

What is it to cultivate a little quiet in ourselves so that we can meet each of these things a little easier? Maybe we’ll find a little of that today, or perhaps you’ll find something else that you need.
