Hello and good morning, friends.

We’ve arrived back together on this Monday. I thought it might be nice to take a little time before the week gets going to find a little quiet, maybe a feeling of stillness.

Perhaps you’re wondering why we talk about quiet so much or practice being in it. There are a lot of reasons for this, but the one I’m thinking about today is that the world and our days can be so, so busy. To be able to sit in the quiet, collect ourselves, find a little space, etc can really make a difference in how your day feels. I think it also makes an impact on how we are with others. If we don’t have a little space, how can we make room to genuinely interact with the people around us?

I could go on, but there are other days for that. For now, I hope you can find that little bit of (or a lot of!) quiet today and that it helps set your day off on the right footing.
