Description

A friend of mine who is a servant leader in the community has told me on more than one occasion that we used to have Black History Bowls right here in Lubbock Public Schools.

She said that stopped having those events because the white kids kept beating the kids from black schools. Turns out, our own kids don’t seem to know much black history.

Maybe it’s the way we teach it that drives people away?
