Located on 50th street, an organization called LEARN, Inc. strives to “assist individuals with beginning, furthering, and pursuing their education, and to afford individuals the opportunity to improve their educational, social, and economic future.”

Lola Coppage, the Executive Director of LEARN, Inc, recently spoke with The Soutwest Digest Podcast about the ways the organization helps students who have dropped out, or “stopped out” of pursuing their education goals.

One of the most surprising things is that small obstacles can derail even a determined student. Lack of a ride or emergencies requiring as little as $500 can terminate an education.

Mrs. Coppage and her team at learn are determined to help provide guidance and resources to prevent this from happening.
