Today, Saturday 5th August 2023, I record an intuitive podcast episode following my first session with my new communications coach, Elzet Blaauw.
I didn’t realise that I was looking for a communications coach, but what I did know is that I have had ‘translation’ issues for a long time.
Indeed, my good friend Jo Hompstead and I have spoken about this very topic, often, as we have sought to communicate the transformational power of the ‘Spaces’ that we have held over the past few years.
You see, my inability to communicate with clarity can, at times, lead to me coming across as judgemental, a very extractive state.
So a little meandering podcast reflection today that I hope you find some value in.

I see so much of the pains (yellow) in my colleagues and peers across the extractive industries today, but also know first-hand how much of the gains (green) we can access when we allow ourselves to feel, to connect head, heart and gut and practice that vulnerability muscle.
Indeed this post in itself is helping me clarify why it is so important that extractive industry leaders have spaces and guidance to join these ‘inner dots.’
