This week, I unexpectedly ended up having conversation with my barber about guns. He owns several, and happened to show me one of them while cutting my hair. He keeps it in a drawer right next to clippers and combs. It’s wild that talking about gun violence has, lately, come to take on the same tone as neighborly chitchat about weather.
(No, I’m not getting a damn gun.)
