About April McMurtry

April McMurtry (Mick Myrrh Tree) is a visual artist, mother, and guide for repairing our relationship with the cyclical nature of time by attuning to the moon.

She is the founder of THE MOON IS MY CALENDAR, LLC and has independently published the New Moon Calendar Journal since 2014 with the help of many supporters. This tool for lunar tracking helps to access inner wisdom, be present with every stage and phase of the unfolding process, and live in more harmony with life’s cyclical nature.

With a Masters of Arts in Teaching and a background in expressive art, yoga and meditation, April loves to share the language of the Moon to support courageous creatives on their path of growth and transformation through the simple yet profound practice of self-study in relationship with cycles.
