Love and Truth – Lexington, NC is a publication and podcast dedicated to exploring the intersection of love, faith, and community action in Davidson County. Through thought-provoking articles, heartfelt storytelling, and engaging conversations, we challenge local perspectives, uplift voices of compassion, and inspire meaningful change. Whether addressing spiritual growth, social justice, or the realities of artistic and humanitarian work in small-town America, Love and Truth serves as a beacon of hope, calling individuals to live with greater generosity, authenticity, and purpose.
As part of this mission, we seek to build a 250-voice inclusive social justice choir, uniting diverse voices to inspire transformation through music. With shared meals, weekend presentations, and powerful community concerts, this initiative fosters connection, amplifies marginalized voices, and spreads a message of love, justice, and belonging.
This work is deeply personal to Dr. Flow, whose own journey in Lexington has been marked by neglect and resistance in his efforts to bring vibrant musical theater to the community. Despite his passion for uniting people through the arts, he has faced indifference and barriers from those unwilling to embrace new expressions of creativity and inclusion. Love and Truth stands as both a response to this challenge and a call to action—an invitation to build a more compassionate and artistically rich community where no one striving to uplift others is left unheard or unsupported.
