Jes Trudel is a literary agent with The Rights Factory who was a freelance editor for 15+ years. She is a storytelling instructor who has taught workshops to thousands of people around the world, including as a guest presenter with The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, the 12x12 Picture Book Challenge, the Toronto Writing Workshop, and Write For Kids, to name a few. She has contributed to BoldFace, Children’s Book Insider, and the SCBWI blog. She founded WritingCommunity.ca.
