This week on the podcast we have Kerry Quaile, the Bar Manager at Vera Pizzeria. Kerry has been with Vera almost since the beginning and she’s worked her way up from barback to bartender to bar manager, taking over after Jon Karel left for The Revelry. Even though she has some big shoes to fill, Kerry has done a good job putting together her first menu for Summer (Fall coming soon) and running the bar, which is as popular as it ever has been. We talked about her arrival to Buffalo’s bar scene, how she became obsessed with craft cocktails, NYC’s popular Employees Only and bar nightmares (a real thing).
