Description

Welcome to Episode 238 of the 3 Minute Mantra Podcast with Aaralyn Shiri! This week's mantra is Namo Namah.

The Sanskrit words - namo & namah - both mean "I bow." Saying them together means, I bow, over and over again. This is similar to the word "namaste" that I often hear after a yoga class. For me, this mantra helps me with the intention of surrender to the divine will, and not my ego. I used to resist the idea of bowing to "god," because religion gave me the idea of god being like a person who was better than me. My ego did not like the idea of "bowing."

So come back to the present moment and sing with me for 3 minutes! ~Aaralyn
