Description

Sophia Moon helps people ranging from age four to ninety-four live their creative gifts. She is an abstract artist, a songwriter, a community organizer, a teacher, and a seeker on the lifelong path of purposeful expression.

As the founder of Essem Art Studios, she creates spaces for children and adults to engage in creative discovery. As the host of CreativeMornings Boston, she gathers creatives from every discipline to build connections, inspire new ideas, and celebrate the magic of life. In her own art, she makes beautiful works that connect to nature, life, and the experience of being human.

Our conversation weaves among several rich topics. What is it to connect to our creative spirit, and how do we express that spirit? Even if we don't identify as artists, how can we be a parent, partner, friend, colleague, and human in ways that are creative, unique, and authentic?

Sophia dances through life, even when times are hard. She lives with generosity, humility, and a deep curiosity for the mysteries hidden in plain sight. Tune in to find out how you can bring some of that spirit into your everyday life.
