I did my first live on TikTok. Why, you may ask, did I do that? Because I’m just playing around. I noticed that my regular posts here on Substack are not videos, so don’t get uploaded to TikTok.
I was also informed by TikTok that I’m allowed to go live, so I figured, what the heck, let’s try it. I chose one of my posts and talked about it. Overall, no real interaction, but I did exceed 76% of other creators w/regards to views on my live. That’s pretty cool.

For me, life is about trying new things. I’m out there dating and learning a heck of a lot about myself in the process. I hadn’t tried TikTok live, so got uncomfortable and went ahead and just talked for 10 minutes about supporting friends and dating.
Every day is an opportunity to grow as a person. Without growth, we stagnate and get stuck in a comfort box. That’s where I was in 2023 before that box got the s**t kicked out of it. I spent the next 2 years figuring myself out.
Now I’m in a good enough space that I feel I can date without losing myself. It’s been a challenge, but a really good challenge in my opinion.
There will be a lot of changes in my life come 2026. I’m excited and scared at the same time, but it’s all good. We can only do the best that we can do at the time we are doing it. To expect anything more is being unrealistic.
